The best thing you can do to build your online business is invest in a professional autoresponder service. Start building a list of subscribers as soon as you can.

Why is it so important to “build a list”?

Because list building is an essential step in creating a long term business by attracting your target market and converting them into customers who buy from you again and again.

If you use an autoresponder to build your list, you will be able to send each person who joins your list a series of email follow-up messages.

Those messages will be sent out automatically by the autoresponder at pre-set intervals, enabling you to build a relationship with each one of your subscribers on virtual autopilot.

If your messages contain well-written information that is relevant, useful AND entertaining, your subscribers will come to see you as an authority whom they “know, like and trust”.

That is how list building allows you to cultivate relationships and win repeat sales.

You may have heard the oft-repeated saying that “the money is in the list.” What it really means is that the money is in the repeat-purchases that a list can deliver for you. It costs a business much more in advertising expenses to get someone onto their mailing list than it does to keep them there.

If you use an autoresponder, there are hardly any additional costs in winning repeat sales from your list. Customers who buy once will help you cover your running costs. They may also help you to make a profit, but repeat customers can make you rich. And an autoresponder will help you generate repeat customers on virtual autopilot.

Additionally, if you ever have an important message that you want to send to everyone on your list, you can send out a broadcast mailing in real-time.

Broadcasts are a very useful way to tell your subscribers about special offers that are available only for a limited time. Broadcasts can be a very good way of boosting sales at seasonal times of the year, or whenever you need a quick injection of cash into your business.
